Minutes of Meeting of the Salhouse Parish Council, held on Wednesday 19th September , 2007

2108 PRESENT: Mr.P.Jefford (Chairman) Mr.R.Cooper, Mrs K. Robbins, Mrs..J Rose, Mrs B.Youell, Mr. J. Fielder, Mr. A. Musgrave, Mr. D. Teager (BDC) Cllr Chris Green and County Councillor S.Murphy and Mrs. J.Blyth.
Also present Mrs D.R.Wyatt (Clerk) and approximately 9 parishioners.

2109 TO CONSIDER APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE
The apologies from Mr.C.McCormick (Vice Chairman). and Mr.P.Peck were accepted.

2110 DECLARATION OF INTERESTS:
Mr. Jefford – Salhouse United Charities trustee.
Mr. J. Fielder – Salhouse Primary School Governor.
Remainder present declared a personal interest in Minute 2056/item 5 as residents.

2111 OPEN FORUM
District Councillor D.Teager’s
written report had been circulated to the Council .See Appendix 1

District Councillor C.Green’s written report had been distributed to Council. See Appendix ll
PCSO 8238 Bob Hall Parish Crimes.-See Apendix lll
Norfolk County Cllr S. Murphy gave a verbal report for all in attendance.

There followed a lively discussion regarding how the parishioners who do not attend will be able to read the reports if they are not minuted. This will be passed to Communications working party for suggestions.

Parish Plan – updated report presented by Ms Gallenders (Chairwoman).

We are all busy writing our report and we were hoping to get a draft set of working reports by the end of October but this is proving difficult and we hope now to have them out by December. However we are proceeding.

PLAYING FIELD
Report received of meeting at Salhouse Rovers FC on 6th August
Points arising were:
Fixture list requested again. FC requested repair to loose W.C in Gents toilet, this will be carried out as soon as FC keys are available.
FC Requested Invoice for the amended agreed rent of £742.00, Clerk to forward.
Fence post on Playing Field requires temporary repair.
FC to renew dug outs with the assistance of workers from Little Plumstead.
FC asked if the pitch was going to be scarified this year, I replied "No" unless they paid for it.
Also pointed out that if the PC was going to sub-soil part of the field they would loose at least one pitch .
Next meeting to be on Monday 3rd September.

Salhouse United Charities Trust – Still assessing consequences of selling Charity land. Noted

2122 MATTERS FOR FUTURE DISCUSSION

The state of dwelling in Ward Rd to be reported to Circle Anglia again.

There being no further business the Chairman thanked all for coming and declared the meeting closed at 10.00pm .
